My Healthcare Revolution Produced by Japan

INVITATION

As Japan’s healthcare new frontier, Kanagawa Prefecture is working with World Health Organization (WHO) to dynamically transform the challenges of ageing population into opportunities for increased happiness and prosperity for all.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the World Health Assembly.
A remarkable progress has been made, particularly in the last decade between 2007 and 2017, in creating a healthier world for all people of the world. We will need to build on this success to pioneer the next stage in the advancement of healthcare in the future world.
Against this backdrop and commemorating the opening of the 70th World Health Assembly, Kanagawa Prefectural Government will host an evening seminar for the first time to introduce our projects and undertakings. Our plan is to hold the seminar annually starting from this year.
Based on the concept of ME-BYO, we aim to pave the way for a global healthcare revolution (“My Healthcare Revolution”) towards a future world where, through the use of advanced ICT and visualization of health status data, people are encouraged to take individual actions to change their life behaviors to promote their health.
With the cooperation of The University of Tokyo Center of Innovation, the seminar will also feature demonstrations of systems and tools. There will also be a get-together buffet after the seminar.
We sincerely look forward to your participation so that we can together work on forging the next stage in healthcare.
